There are many opportunities for giving -- whether it is a bequest in your will, an outright gift of money or property, or naming CW as the beneficiary of your life insurance or pension.

Although it is now taken for granted that persons with disabilities can and do hold responsible positions throughout the workforce, there once was a time when this was not so. CW Resources, Inc., formerly named Constructive Workshops, has been in the forefront since its incorporation in 1964, assisting persons with disabilities to realize their vocational potential.

Today that mission to provide vocational training, work experience, and employment opportunities continues to expand at CW. Our one original workshop, founded by community leaders and disabled residents, has grown to include centers throughout Connecticut and parts of Massachusetts & Rhode Island. These centers create employment opportunities in an integrated community setting for many hundreds of people each day, allowing them to more fully participate and contribute back to the community.

In 1998 the CW Board of Directors established an endowment fund at the Community Foundation of Greater New Britain to ensure the future of its valuable programs and services. The McIntosh & Delaney Society was established to honor its founders and individuals who contributed $100 or more to the fund. We hope that you will consider joining this philanthropic group or choose one of the many alternative opportunities to assist persons with disabilities lead more fulfilling lives.
