of Rehabilitation Services (BRS) is the designated Connecticut
state unit responsible for the administration of the Vocational
Rehabilitation, Employment, and Social Security Disability
programs.
Department
of Mental Retardation (DMR) is a state agency funded by
the State of Connecticut to purchase or provide a wide range
of supports and services for citizens of Connecticut with
mental retardation. The supports and services DMR administers
or purchases include residential services, day programs, employment
supports, family supports, case management and clinical services.

Economic Resource Center, Inc. (CERC) is a private, non-profit
organization with experienced economic development professionals
that showcase the advantages of starting, moving and expanding
businesses in Connecticut to companies of all sizes.

NISH creates employment and training opportunities for people
with severe disabilities through participation in the Javits-Wagner-O-Day
Program.

Britain Chamber of Commerce -- CW Resources is a member
of the New Britain, CT Chamber of Commerce.
National Business
Incubation Association is the international trade organization
for incubator companies such as CW Resources' own Connecticut
Enterprise Center (CEC).
Connecticut
Small Business Development Center (CSBDC) is a statewide
organization providing professional consulting to the small
and medium-sized business community without charge. Assistance
is available for accounting, financial analysis, management,
marketing, business plans and loan packaging. The CSBDC also
provides a broad program of training and education and research
projects to help small businesses.
Rehabilitation Accreditation
Commission or CARF is a private, non-profit organization
that accredits programs and services in Adult Day Services,
Assisted Living, Behavioral Health, Employment and Community
Services, and Medical Rehabilitation. CARF develops and maintains
practical and relevant standards of quality for such programs.
